​     The Casa del Rio dorm is at the intersection of Roma Ave NE & Redondo E Dr NE

​     Cost: $1 per ride (cash only, exact change needed)

     Take Bus 50 (Airport/Downtown) toward Alvarado Transportation Center (ATC)         

     Get off at Yale Blvd and Central Ave (right before the bus makes its first turn onto    

     Central Ave).  You will be dropped at the edge of the UNM Campus.  The Student

     Union is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.  The Casa del Rio dorm is about a 15-

     minute walk.

TAXI

     Have your cab take you to the University of New Mexico’s Central Campus. 

     The closest intersection to the Student Union is Central Ave and Cornell Dr. 
     The closest intersection to the Casa del Rio dorm is Roma Ave NE & Redondo E

AMTRAK

Albuquerque is a major stop on Amtrak Railway lines from Chicago and Los Angeles. The station welcomes the "Southwest Chief" once a day from each direction.

PARKING

There is no free parking on or near campus but there are pay parking lots next to the dorm.  You can buy a weekly pass for $30 when you register for the Gathering or at the Casa del Rio dorm when you arrive.  This allows you to come and go in one of the uncovered lots next to the Casa del Rio complex. If you don’t purchase a pass or if you want covered parking, the rate is $1.75 per hour.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS​

The Casa del Rio dorm is located at the intersection of Roma Ave NE & Redondo E Dr NE



Traveling by car, you will find easy access to the City from two major Interstate Highways, Interstate 25 and Interstate 40, which intersect at the City's center.



The University is bordered on the West by University Blvd, the North by Lomas Blvd, the South by Central Blvd, and the East by Girard Blvd.

When driving to Albuquerque on I-25 southbound:
Take Exit 224B, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. / Central
Turn LEFT onto Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
You will enter the UNM campus at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and University.
Turn LEFT onto Redondo Rd. Follow until you reach the stop sign at Las Lomas.
Turn RIGHT onto Las Lomas. This will turn into Campus Blvd. Continue on Campus Blvd. until you reach Redondo.
Turn RIGHT onto Redondo at the stop sign.
The Casa del Rio dorm will be on your right.



When driving to Albuquerque on I-25 northbound:
Take Exit 224B, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. / Central
Turn RIGHT onto Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
You will enter the UNM campus at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and University.
Turn LEFT onto Redondo Rd. Follow until you reach the stop sign at Las Lomas.
Turn RIGHT onto Las Lomas. This will turn into Campus Blvd. Continue on Campus Blvd. until you reach Redondo.
Turn RIGHT onto Redondo at the stop sign.
The Casa del Rio dorm will be on your right.



When driving to Albuquerque on I-40 eastbound:
Take Exit 160, Carlisle
Turn RIGHT onto Carlisle.
Continue on Carlisle until you reach Lomas.
Turn RIGHT onto Lomas.
Enter the UNM campus by turning LEFT at the University Hospital / Lomas light.
Turn LEFT onto Campus Blvd.
Turn RIGHT onto Redondo.
The Casa del Rio dorm will be on your right.



When driving to Albuquerque on I-40 westbound:
Take Exit 160, Carlisle
Turn LEFT onto Carlisle.
Continue on Carlisle until you reach Lomas.
Turn RIGHT onto Lomas.
Enter the UNM campus by turning LEFT at the University Hospital / Lomas light.
Turn LEFT onto Campus Blvd.
Turn RIGHT onto Redondo.
The Casa del Rio dorm will be on your right.
